The choice between Goretex and Fjällräven G1000 depends on your specific needs. Goretex is known for its waterproof and breathable properties, making it ideal for activities in wet conditions. On the other hand, Fjällräven G1000 is a durable and versatile fabric that can be waxed for added water resistance and durability. Consider the type of activities you will be doing and the conditions you will be facing to determine which fabric will best suit your needs. **

Functional clothing made of Goretex is impregnated through a process called Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment. This treatment involves applying a chemical coating to the outer layer of the fabric, which helps water bead up and roll off the surface. This allows the fabric to remain breathable while repelling water, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable in wet conditions. The DWR treatment can wear off over time and with use, so it is recommended to reapply it periodically to maintain the garment's water-repellent properties. **

The choice between leather and Goretex shoes for hiking depends on the specific conditions of the hike. Leather shoes are durable and provide good support, making them suitable for rugged terrain and long hikes. However, they are not as breathable or waterproof as Goretex shoes. Goretex shoes are lightweight, breathable, and waterproof, making them ideal for wet and muddy conditions. Ultimately, the decision should be based on the specific terrain and weather conditions of the hike. **

Yes, the C-rating is important for flying FPV drones with LiPo batteries. The C-rating indicates the maximum continuous discharge rate of the battery, which is crucial for providing the necessary power to the drone's motors during flight. Choosing a LiPo battery with a sufficient C-rating ensures that the battery can deliver the required current without being overtaxed, which can lead to voltage sag and reduced performance. Therefore, it is important to consider the C-rating when selecting a LiPo battery for FPV drone flying. **

The impregnation of functional clothing made of Goretex is typically done using a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. This treatment involves applying a chemical coating to the outer fabric of the clothing, which helps to repel water and prevent it from soaking into the fabric. The DWR treatment helps to maintain the breathability and waterproofness of the Goretex fabric, ensuring that the clothing remains functional in wet and rainy conditions. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for reapplying the DWR treatment as needed to maintain the performance of the Goretex clothing. **
